Megan Lazar is a civil litigation attorney at BB Law Group. With considerable experience on both the plaintiff and defense side, Megan brings a unique and comprehensive perspective to each case she handles that she aggressively litigates from inception through trial. Her areas of practice include personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and landlord tenant law.
After college, Megan worked for several years as a paralegal for an immigration attorney, and saw first-hand how the practice of law could be used to help those in need achieve a better life, overcome barriers, and escape persecution. This ultimately incited her to pursue a law degree and become an advocate for those who had been wronged.
While in law school Megan externed with the Office of the Attorney General where she researched state and federal investigations of police officer misconduct and prepared legal memorandum to identify civil rights violations associated with police officer use of force. This work addressed how police departments state-wide should implement reform and proposed guidelines for the attorney general to utilize in future legislation. Megan also volunteered for Public Counsel’s Homelessness Prevention Law Project, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Immigration Legal Assistance Project.
In her free time, Megan enjoys pilates, attending concerts, and spending time with her husband.
