Mark Bloom is a Partner at B|B Law Group. He has more than a decade of experience litigating high-stakes cases in the trial courts, federal courts, and courts of appeal. Mark worked at several prominent plaintiff law firms where he proved himself as an aggressive trial attorney by securing multiple multi-million dollar settlements and verdicts. Early in his career, Mark represented some of the largest corporations in the world. He has now brought the knowledge and experience he has gained to the representation of individuals and small businesses seeking full and fair justice in the courts.
Mark primarily focuses on bringing his litigation experience and skill to bear on complex and highly contested liability issues. Mark is licensed to practice in both state and federal court in California. He is a Certified Contract Advisor with the National Football League Players Association and has championed injury settlements totaling upwards of eight figures for over 40 professional football players.
Mark earned his law degree in two years from California Western School of Law, serving as a member of the Law Review/International Law Journal. An alumnus of University of Texas at Austin, Mark graduated with honors in two and a half years with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government.
A native of New Orleans, Mark now resides in Redondo Beach, CA. Mark is a former national, as well as world racquetball champion and a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He enjoys playing sports- tops on the list are tennis and squash. Mark is fluent in Spanish and proficient in Hebrew.
Lindsay Burton is a plaintiffs’ civil litigation attorney at B | B Law Group, where she represents individuals and businesses that have suffered a loss at the hands of another. She specializes in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, defective products and consumer protection, premises liability, property damage, commercial torts, and employment law including harassment, discrimination, and wrongful termination. Ms. Burton is an aggressive advocate for her clients and has obtained over $4.4M in successful verdicts and settlements on their behalf.
Ms. Burton received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, as well as a Minor in Business Administration through the Marshall School of Business. She subsequently worked in the film and television industry for a number of years before attending law school. She then received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles where she graduated with a Concentration in Civil Litigation and as a DRPA Certified Mediator. While in law school, Ms. Burton focused on developing the skills that would serve her goal of becoming a plaintiffs’ trial attorney by working for Loyola’s Alarcón Advocacy Center drafting successful amicus briefs to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on behalf of various women’s organizations and others in First Resort, Inc. v. Herrera, et al., and on behalf of Members of Congress Rohrabacher (R-CA) and Farr (D-CA) in U.S.A. v. Noah Kleinman. Prior to joining B | B Law Group, Ms. Burton furthered her skills by working as a Law Clerk and then Attorney at the plaintiffs’ firm of Girardi | Keese.
Ms. Burton is an active member of many plaintiffs’ legal organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and the American Association for Justice (AAJ). Ms. Burton is also actively involved in several women lawyers’ organizations including the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA) and California Women Lawyers (CWL).
Ms. Burton is licensed to practice in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
In addition to her busy practice, in her free time Ms. Burton enjoys traveling, photography, water sports, and hiking with her dog Kya, a Shiba Inu.
Shannon Guevara is an attorney at B|B Law Group who dedicates her career to plaintiff’s litigation, specializing in all aspects of personal injury, employment, and wrongful death matters. She aggressively advocates on behalf of her clients and their families who have been harmed – opposing unrighteous insurance companies and corporations.
Realizing that many of her clients sustain life changing injuries or medical conditions, Ms. Guevara fights to ensure that insurance companies satisfy their duty to fairly compensate those harmed. She has represented hundreds of clients throughout the litigation process and has received over a million dollars in compensation on behalf of her clients.
Ms. Guevara received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she majored in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law. While in law school she clerked for the Offices of the Orange County Public Defender.
She is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and American Association of Justice (AAJ). In her free time, she enjoys playing beach volleyball, relaxing at the beach, and hanging-out with her Old English Bulldog.
Prior to joining B | B Law Group, Talissa gained valuable experience interning for Los Angeles County Counsel where she worked in both the Property Division and the Dependency Division analyzing case files, appearing in court, and conducting research that would help keep the community safe.
Talissa’s passion for representing underprivileged and underrepresented communities lead her to intern at the Yolo County Public Defender’s Office where she aggressively advocated Proposition 47 reductions and in the interest of justice, worked hard representing juvenile clients, making sure they were given fair sentences.
Talissa graduated phi betta kappa and cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles with a degree in Women’s Studies and Education. She then earned her J.D at the University of California Davis where she participated in Moot Court, competed in the National Juvenile Law Moot Court Competition, and was a finance co-chair for the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association.
During her free time, Talissa enjoys traveling, volunteering at her local animal shelters, and going to the beach.
