Lindsay Burton is a plaintiffs civil litigation and trial attorney at B | B Law Group, where she represents individuals and businesses that have suffered a loss at the hands of another. She specializes in the areas of consumer protection including personal injury and wrongful death, premises liability, and medical malpractice; employment law including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination; and landlord tenant/habitability law, property damage, and commercial torts. Ms. Burton is an aggressive advocate for her clients and has obtained over $40 Million in successful verdicts and settlements on their behalf. Ms. Burton has a true passion for obtaining the justice her clients deserve and she enjoys creating personal relationships with her clients to better understand the effect their injuries are having on their lives.
As a lifelong resident of Los Angeles, Ms. Burton received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, as well as a Minor in Business Administration through the Marshall School of Business. She subsequently worked as a television and film Producer for seven years before attending law school. She received her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles where she graduated with a Concentration in Civil Litigation. While in law school, Ms. Burton focused on developing the skills that would serve her goal of becoming a plaintiffs’ trial attorney by working for Loyola’s Alarcón Advocacy Center drafting successful amicus briefs to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit on behalf of various women’s organizations and others in First Resort, Inc. v. Herrera, et al., and on behalf of Members of Congress, Representative Farr (D-CA) and Representative Rohrabacher (R-CA), in U.S.A. v. Noah Kleinman. Prior to B | B Law Group, Ms. Burton furthered her skills by working as a Law Clerk and then Attorney at one of California’s most renowned plaintiffs law firms. Ms. Burton is also a DRPA Certified Mediator.
Ms. Burton is an active member of several prominent legal organizations, including Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), American Association for Justice (AAJ), Lambda Legal, and other national and local bar associations. Ms. Burton is also actively involved in several women lawyers’ organizations including the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA) and California Women Lawyers (CWL).
Ms. Burton is licensed to practice in the State of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California.
In addition to her busy practice, in her free time Ms. Burton enjoys traveling with her family and friends, photography, water sports, hiking with her rescue dogs, and volunteering for organizations supporting human and animal rights.
